Position Summary:

For every Tenant and member of the general public at Scotia Centre, the Tenant Services position is a key representative of Aspen Properties.  Hours of work required for this position are based on a rotational shift.

This position reports to the Manager, Security & Life Safety and the Property Manager.

Qualifications:

• 2 + years of Security experience
• First Aid & AED
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Superior problem solving and judgment skills
• Honesty and integrity
• Strong team player
• Good understanding of Microsoft PC applications
• Security Guard Police Information Check

Key Responsibilities:

The care and concern of tenants, tenant office spaces, retail spaces and common areas of the building, including:

• Monitor various building systems i.e. HVAC, CCTV, lighting, fire and security systems
• Direct, supervise and coordinate the activities of security officers
• Provide information and directions to all tenants and guests
• Post Watch, Event Security, Security Surveillance and Parking Patrol
• Report on building happenings, problems encountered and security breaches
• Responsible for all ingress and egress points to Scotia Centre
• Perform scheduled tasks
• Provide access to secured areas as directed by building management
• Maintain security access card database
• Point of contact for freight elevator usage
• Maintain security logs
• Additional security requirements as needed
