Position Summary:
For every Tenant and member of the general public at Scotia Centre, the Tenant Services position is a key representative of Aspen Properties. Hours of work required for this position are based on a rotational shift.
This position reports to the Manager, Security & Life Safety and the Property Manager.
Qualifications:
- 2 + years of Security experience
- First Aid & AED
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Superior problem solving and judgment skills
- Honesty and integrity
- Strong team player
- Good understanding of Microsoft PC applications
- Security Guard Police Information Check
Key Responsibilities:
The care and concern of tenants, tenant office spaces, retail spaces and common areas of the building, including:
- Monitor various building systems i.e. HVAC, CCTV, lighting, fire and security systems
- Direct, supervise and coordinate the activities of security officers
- Provide information and directions to all tenants and guests
- Post Watch, Event Security, Security Surveillance and Parking Patrol
- Report on building happenings, problems encountered and security breaches
- Responsible for all ingress and egress points to Scotia Centre
- Perform scheduled tasks
- Provide access to secured areas as directed by building management
- Maintain security access card database
- Point of contact for freight elevator usage
- Maintain security logs
- Additional security requirements as needed
